Our Story

Eden Foster Care was founded by Saqib Sattar and Mohummed Sayed, friends for over 20 years who have dedicated much of their careers to serving vulnerable communities through the charity sector. Together, they have spent more than two decades leading initiatives in the UK and internationally, overseeing projects focused on orphan care, children's education, poverty alleviation and humanitarian relief. Through this work, they gained first-hand insight into the challenges that many children face and the life-changing difference that a safe, stable and loving home can make.

These experiences inspired Saqib and Mohummed to establish Eden Foster Care. While thousands of dedicated foster carers provide exceptional homes every day, there remains a significant need for more compassionate people to come forward. Eden Foster Care was created to help meet that need by recruiting, training and supporting foster carers who can provide children and young people with the care, stability and encouragement they deserve.

At the heart of Eden Foster Care is a simple belief: every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. We believe children flourish when they experience stability, security and unconditional care, and that a loving home provides the foundation for confidence, resilience and positive life outcomes. Our ambition is to recruit, train and support exceptional foster carers who can help children feel safe, valued and empowered to succeed.

Together with an experienced leadership team, Saqib and Mohummed have built Eden Foster Care on the principles of safeguarding, compassion, professionalism and excellence. Drawing on extensive experience in children's social care, safeguarding, charity leadership, governance and regulatory compliance, they are committed to ensuring that every decision is guided by one priority: achieving the very best outcomes for children and young people.
